We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help evolve and scale an infrastructure that consists of more than ~1200 fat servers, in 3 Data Centers. As part of Vinted’s SRE team, you’ll work with us on network, databases, search clusters, and cache clusters for the fast-growing, new generation of Vinted. Here are some of the technologies we use: CentOS 7, Chef, MySQL, Vitess, ElasticSearch, Ceph, Mcrouter, Memcached, Redis, Kafka, JVM, Go, Consul, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Nginx, Jenkins, Docker, Datadog and Kubernetes.
This is a partly remote work opportunity, so you have the possibility to stay based in your city, and to only work in the Vilnius office 1 day per week (once the quarantine period has ended).
In This Position, You’ll
We want people to work from where they’re most comfortable, which is why we’re using a hybrid workplace model at Vinted for the foreseeable future.
Hybrid means that we encourage working from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the remainder of your time from either home or the office, but it’s not required. You’re welcome to work from either location all or some of the time, depending on what you think is best and safest for you, and how the Covid-19 situation is developing where you are.
The salary range for this position is €2600 - €8560 (gross) per month.
