As they scale their engineering team, theyre looking for a Senior Android Software Engineer (UI & Payments) to take a lead role in shaping the next generation of Android payment apps. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced Android apps for EFT POS terminals (Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose).
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust, secure payment applications.
- Prototype, test, and implement innovative UI/UX solutions, including server-driven UI concepts.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
- Lead improvements in modularization, performance, and scalability across projects.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Guarantee compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS) standards.
- Support and optimize existing applications while contributing to long-term product innovation.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers in best practices and efficient coding techniques.
- Drive projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely, secure, and high-quality releases.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in Android development (Kotlin & Java).
- Proficiency in Jetpack Compose and modern Android app architecture.
- Experience with modular software design and separation of concerns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, UML, and C4 modeling for system architecture.
- Understanding of server-driven UI and dynamic component rendering.
- Hardware fundamentals knowledge considered a plus.
- Fluent English (Lithuanian or Russian an advantage).
