We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back End Engineer to join our growing team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Node.js application development (experience with Express is an advantage).
- Worked with team(s) on production systems with user traffic.
- Has experience with microservices development.
- Proficiency in Javascript language (proficiency in Typescript is an advantage).
- Proven experience in working with NoSQL databases (MongoDB is an advantage).
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is an advantage.
Your responsibilities:
- Create new features and upgrade existing ones to improve our user experience.
- Take full ownership of the features you produce.
- Work closely with other teams to examine new feature requirements and plan implementations.
- Help in designing the backend architecture to ease and improve development efficiency.
- Refactor the code base to comply with our desired architecture and latest business requirements.
- Help customer support solve technical issues our users encounter.
- Participate in quarterly plannings and brainstorm on ways to improve Podbase.
Our technology:
The system consists of 1 monolithic service and 5 supporting microservices. All services are written using NodeJS with JavaScript or TypeScript. Our frontend is written with Angular. It communicates with the backend via RESTful API. The whole infrastructure is running on Kubernetes and hosted on Azure. For databases, we use MongoDB via Mongo Atlas and Redis for queue systems.
SALARY: Gross salary range is 3000 - 5000 EUR/month and up depending on your skills and experience
