Now we are looking for a Software Engineer to join the team in Kaunus, Lithuania.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer in a cloud environment, you will help design and develop scalable backend services and frameworks, leveraging modern programming languages such as C# and cloud-native technologies such as Azure. You will contribute to building reliable and efficient systems that meet coding, performance, security, and availability standards.
You will be involved in managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools and supporting automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid, high-quality deployments.
Monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation will be key aspects of the role to ensure system reliability and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration is essential - you will work closely with cross-functional people including DevOps, QA, and product management to deliver robust solutions. You will also support operational stability by diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud environments and participating in maintenance and support when needed.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Prioritizing, planning, and coordinating development activities within Agile team for new and existing products
- Applying Agile methodology to ensure efficient delivery of the project
- Contributing to product development-related activities
- Applying technical skills to help the business achieve its goals
- Producing well-structured documentation
- Sharing business domain and technical knowledge across the team
- Coaching less experienced team members
- Keeping up to date with relevant technologies and best practices
IF YOU HAVE:
- Solid experience in C# / .Net Core / .Net Framework with a focus on Backend Service Engineering
- Hands-on experience using unit testing frameworks
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (Query, Design, SP)
- Experience in Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Practices
- Experience in applying Agile methodologies (any of these: Scrum, Kanban, DSDM)
- Experience working with Azure
- Experience with MS SQL, CosmosDB, Snowflake is beneficial
- Experience with Apache Airflow is beneficial
- Experience with Python is beneficial
- Experience with Docker is beneficial
- Great communication skills and willing to work in a team
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
- Fluency in English (at least B2)
